- Instant Pot recipes are so versatile. You can fry, sauté, steam, and sterilize. You can make almost anything ranging from chicken tikka masala to yogurt, oatmeal, pies, and even cakes!

Well, my secret to getting the meat just as tasty as that made on the broiler is to marinate and sear it properly. That way, the meat soaks up all the juiciness.
To do that, combine these marinade ingredients in a large bowl:
- ½ cup of water
- ¼ cup of red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of tomato paste
- 1½ teaspoon of thyme
- 1 teaspoon of garlic salt
The power ingredients here are vinegar and tomato paste — the vinegar’s acidity softens the beef while the tomato paste thickens the sauce. That makes this keto dinner’s protein tender, colorful, and juicy.
Marinate the beef for at least 3 hours in the fridge. But the longer the better, so if you can, leave it overnight.
Note: The marinade is not just for the pre-soak.
Add the mixture to the Instant Pot to pressure cook with the beef. Just remember to top up with the broth of your choice to bring the liquid total to 1½ cups — the amount of liquid required to cook the beef for 20 minutes on high pressure.

If you want an alternative for beer, use a different broth of your choice: vegetable, beef, pork, water, or even apple juice.
Lastly, if you’re serving a large number, you can double or triple the quantities in my original recipe. But the cooking time stays the same — all you need to add is more butter and beer.
