Vegetables
Peppers, mushrooms, spinach, kale, zucchini, broccoli, and asparagus.
Canned products
Sun-dried tomatoes, green chiles, and olives.
Cheese
Parmesan, Gruyere, Cheddar, Swiss, and Feta.

How to make Instant Pot Egg Bites
First and foremost, gather all the ingredients and all the mix-ins that you're going to use! Remember that you can change these up the next time you make them, so don't stress too much.
Step One: Crack the eggs into the blender.
Step Two: Add the cottage cheese and the cream cheese into the blender.
Step Three: Blend all the ingredients well and then pour the mixture into a bowl.
Step Four: Add in the mix-ins of your choice. (Be sure that if you're adding in any meat, it's already cooked!)
Step Five: Add the shredded cheese.
Step Six: Fill the molds with the egg mixture.
Step Seven: Place the trivet and water into your Instant Pot.
Step Eight: Place the molds onto the stand. Set the Instant Pot to low pressure for 6 minutes.
Step Nine: Once the time has passed, do a Quick Release. Take your molds out and carefully dish your egg bites.
Variations
The biggest way to vary this recipe is to change the mix-ins. Do some vegetarian egg bites, some meat, and cheese egg bites, and mix and match as you want!
Helpful Tips
If you're worried about the eggs sticking to the molds, spray with nonstick cooking spray before adding. They should easily come out and hold their shape.
How To Serve
There's not much to it! Just pop these pressure cooker egg bites out of the mold and serve! You can add some parmesan cheese to the top if you'd like for another low-carb ingredient.

How to Store
Egg bites store really easily! Just store them in an airtight container in the fridge OR freezer for later!
Freeze them for up to 1 month and in the fridge for up to 4 days.
How to Reheat
To reheat from the fridge, pop them in the microwave for about 30 seconds - 1 minute. Just keep an eye on them as every microwave will heat at a different temperature.
To reheat from frozen, move them to the fridge first to thaw, then the microwave after that to warm up.
Recipe FAQs
Yes, Instant Pot Egg Bites can be part of a Keto diet. Simply make sure your mix-ins do not include higher-carb veggies (like tomatoes) and utilize heavy cream rather than milk or full-fat cottage cheese.
If your mold bends and touches the other side easily, then it is silicone. If it is stiff and not bendable, then it is plastic.
If the egg bites are spongy, it means that you're mixing them too much. Just mix until combined, and then pour into the molds.

Would like to know how I can make these other than an instapot since I don't own one???
I don't have an insta pot how would I make these in a muffin tin.
Also is there a non-dairy version ? I can handle a little mozzarella but that would be it.
How could the egg bites be made if I don’t have an InstaPot?
Great recipe Corrie keep up the good work!
Is there a way to fix them another way instead of the instapot?
What temperature if cooking in a conventional oven? And for how long? Thank you!
Most other recipes say to cook at high pressure for 8 minutes with 10 minute natural release. They were too rubbery. Your recipe time is better.
Thank you Linda. I'm doing my best 🙂
I made them and they were awesome!! I did have to cook them longer than the recipe stated. I added 3 minutes when I realised they were not done. I use jumbo eggs and an maybe the cookware I used is deeper. Anyway they were delicious…I used roasted red peppers, pepperoni, spinach with the usual herbs and spices.
Thanks for pointing that out, you're absolutely right. The cook time can vary based on the size of the molds, but I'm glad you were able to figure it out ◡̈ Those additions sound amazing!
These are amazing! I added in some real bacon bits. Also in my instapot (Ninja Foodie) I found 10 mins was perfect. I have tried to come up with a similar product to Starbucks with no luck. I even purchased an egg bite sous vide machine and sent it back. These were PERFECT. I will be keeping these on hand for breakfast or a healthy snack! Thank you for one more fabulous recipe.
Great idea, sounds delicious! I'm so glad you love the recipe!
Great recipe. But the needed to cook a little longer.
I'm glad you liked it! And good to know about the cook time, I'd be curious if others had the same experience. May depend on preference.
