What's so special about Instant Pot Tuscan Chicken Pasta?
This Instant Pot Tuscan Chicken Pasta is simple enough for weeknights, yet extravagant enough for extra special events.
How long does it take to cook Tuscan Chicken Pasta in an Instant Pot?
It is truly quick thinking about what a scrumptious dish you're making and that it has a couple of intentions for wonderful it.
It requires less than 15 minutes of cooking!
Can I use anything else other than Chicken Breasts?
Absolutely, but I tend to use cubed chicken breast for this recipe, you could also use thighs if that’s what you prefer. The cook time will remain the same.
For the chicken breasts, you can trade it dependent on fresh, frozen, cubed or even daintily sliced like a stroganoff.
Can I use pre-grated cheese?
Freshly grated parmesan cheese will result in a smoother sauce.
Avoid buying the pre-grated stuff to have a flavorsome taste in your Instant Pot Tuscan Chicken Pasta.
Can I add mushrooms?
Sure! Sometimes I like to diversify and add champignon mushrooms which make the recipe even better!
Add them after the garlic, and saute them for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.
How to serve?
It's amazing as is with grated cheese on top. If you want, you can add a fresh salad or steamed vegetables. Some ideas:

Great dish! Most important change I made was using gluten-free fettuccine, cooked in IP 5 min with quick release. Also left spinach out and just stirred into finished dish because we prefer barely cooked spinach. Definitely a keeper. Thanks!
Thanks for the helpful note on the gluten free pasta! I'm glad you enjoyed the recipe ◡̈
Did the chicken get all the way cooked from just that saute before it was sliced? I don't see where the chicken goes back into the pot? You just saute the chicken pieces on each side until brown, take it out, slice it, and ??? I don't get it ... does the chicken ever get cooked any further? Why doesn't it go back into the pot?
If you use thin chicken breasts as I did, then yes, it gets completely cooked from the saute. If you have thicker pieces and it's not cooked all the way, you can add the chicken back with the other ingredients to cook more. I like to cook it completely and keep it separate to keep it extra crispy, but either way works. Hope that helps!
Family loved it and it turned out even better than I have come to expect from Corrie, will keep this in my chicken recipe folder. Very very good and will make it again.
