Place the french fries in the air fryer basket. One layer is better but if you need to make a large batch you can place them as I did in the image below.

Cover with the Air Fryer Lid.

AIR FRY at 375 F° for 10 minutes.

Open the lid, flip the fries, and AIR FRY at 375 F° for another 10 minutes.

Open the lid and take out the french fries.

In case the fries are too soft, close the lid and AIR FRY for a few more minutes.

Serve and enjoy 🙂

    1. Yes, Instant Pot duo crisp is one unit so it needs to be plugged.
The unplugged is for people that using the separate unit like Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid or Mealthy Crisplid.

  1. Add my duo crisp Insta pot for sometime, busy with senior friends during this pandemic, just now getting to use it kind a lost my motivation but I’d like to do something different. Since I live by myself I am a little bit nervous To use it but I am dying for sweet potatoes fries. Arkansas sweet potatoes are the greatest ever. Trying to follow your recipe hope I’m doing it right maybe no explosions ha ha Ha. Wish me well

  2. What is the easiest way to turn foods in that little basket??
Also, should I preheat the instant pot with the fryer lid?

  3. Okay, these were so good. I just got my Instant Pot air fryer lid today. The first batch, I followed the exact recipe. The second batch, I subbed garlic powder for the paprika. Both were crispy and flavorful; Son 1 (12) and I preferred the paprika, and Son 2 (10) and my husband preferred the garlic. So, so good. Btw, I wasn't sure if I could stack them somewhat (basically to get one potato in at a time), but I figured I'd try. They were still crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Yay, thanks!

  4. Thank you for the recipe! First time I've used the Air Fryer lid for Instant Pot. Great results from your recipe. Thank you!
