Ingredients

  • 2 lb beef chuck diced
  • ¼ cup flour divided into 2
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 3 carrots cut
  • 5 potatoes in half
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • ½ cup beef stock

Instructions

  • In a bowl mix the beef with salt, pepper and half of the amount of flour .
  • Press "saute" and add oil to the Instant Pot.
  • Add the beef to the Instant Pot and saute for 3 minutes.
  • Add onion, celery, carrots and potatoes.
  • Add tomato sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato paste.
  • Add beef broth and stir well.
  • Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 35 minutes.
  • When cooking time is complete, wait for a natural release and open the lid.
  • Take the remaining flour and mix it with the beef stock.
  • Pour the mixture into the Instant Pot and stir well.
  • Serve and enjoy 🙂

  1. What flour do you suggest for gluten free recipe and how much? Perhaps cornstarch instead mixed with cool water first?
