Ingredients

  • 1 lb raw peanuts
  • ¼ cup sea salt
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 10 cups water

Instructions

  • Combine raw or green peanuts, water, salt, and chili powder in the Instant Pot.
  • Top the raw peanuts with a trivet to keep them submerged.
  • Lock lid into place and cook at high pressure for 1 hour.
  • Once the cooking cycle completes, wait for a natural pressure release for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, do a quick pressure release.
  • Open the lid, drain the peanuts and serve.

    1. If you don't live in the South it's nearly impossible. I order mine online. I have on occasion found them at an Aisan market.
