Do you end up burning it instead of having finely cooked popcorns?
I've seen people trying to make Popcorn using their Instant Pot but end up failing.
Why?
That is because of their selection of oil.
I'm a major fanatic of utilizing butter for most things, however for this situation you need to use coconut oil.
Coconut oil has a higher smoke point which guarantees the popcorn pops uniformly and doesn't burn.
This two-ingredient recipe is now made even easier with this video guide:
Why should I use Instant Pot instead of a stove or microwave?
Preparing popcorns in an Instant pot is as easy as tossing a pack of popcorn into the microwave.
To my surprise, it is always tastier!
What can I use as toppings?
For this Instant Pot popcorn recipe, simply salt will do the thing for you but do not bound yourself to it and feel free to have experience with flavors of cheese, chili, or butter.
How to make Instant Pot Popcorn?

Now pour 2 tablespoon of coconut oil into the pot.
Take ½ cup of popcorn Kernels and put it into the pot.

It is high in saturated fat Would another oil work?
Yes, any oil with a high smoke point over 350-400, avocado oil is another good option.
Avocado oil also has high smoke point and a subtle, buttery taste. I use it for stir fry and I think it should work for this popcorn recipe. I have a neighbor with nut allergy and coconut oil would send him to hospital
Great recipe I added cinnamon sugar for extra flavor.
Love that! Delicious!
When did you add the cinnamon and sugar?
