Instant Pot Fondue


Looking for an easy party dessert? This Instant Pot Fondue is the recipe for you!

It takes less than 10 minutes and 4 ingredients to get a delicious chocolate sauce.

You can add extra flavors but the basic recipe is amazing as is. Add Strawberries, bananas and marshmallow and don't forget to take a picture before start eating.

What chocolate is suitable for this recipe?

You can go for any! Choose what you prefer or what you already have in stock.

For this recipe I used Swiss Bittersweet Chocolate.

How thick should the Fondue be?

Maintain the thickness as per your preference.

If you think your Fondue is a bit thin then add milk or cream to thicken it up a bit.

How to make

Gather the necessary ingredients.

Instant Pot Fondue

Place the trivet in an instant pot and add water to it.

Take a bowl, add large chunks of chocolate to it.

Add sugar, heavy cream (or fresh cream), and liquor.

Cover with the lid and pressure cook at “low” for 2 minutes.

Do a quick release. Mix well until it becomes thick.

Pour the mixture into small bowls.

Serve with marshmallows, cookies, fruits chunks and enjoy 🙂

  • 3.5 oz heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon amaretto liqueur
  • 3.5 oz Chocolate bittersweet Swiss
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup water


  • Pour waiter into the Instant Pot.
  • Place a trivet on the bottom.
  • Place a bowl on the trivet.
  • Place chocolate, sugar, heavy cream and liquor Inside the bowl.
  • Close the lid and cook on Low Pressure for 2 minutes.
  • When cooking time is complete, do a quick pressure release.
  • Open the lid and Mix well until it becomes thick.
  • Serve with strawberries, marshmallows, cookies etc.
