What is Shrimp Scampi anyway?
A particular sort of shellfish is called "Scampi" that's yet in North America the term has come to mean a garlicky, rich sauce for shellfish.
So famous around the country that there are certainly no Italian restaurants that don't have this on the menu!

Keep the leftovers in an airtight bag or container for as long as 3 days.
How to reheat
Heat up a little oil, once it's done add shrimp scampi and heat.
How to make Instant Pot Shrimp Scampi
Gather the necessary ingredients.
Take your Instant pot and add peeled shrimps.
Add previously minced fresh garlic.
Now, a little bit of white wine and cover the pot.
Set the pot to High Pressure for 1 minute.
Do a Quick Release.
Take the shrimp out, and press "saute".
Add butter and let it melt in the liquid left.
Add back the shrimp.
Add fresh lemon juice.
Add some fresh chopped parsley, stir well and saute for 5 minutes.
Let it heat up a bit. Keep stirring meanwhile.
Dish out and serve.

Instant Pot Shrimp Scampi
Ingredients
- 1 ½ lb shrimp peeled
- ¼ cup white wine
- 2 teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper ground
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- ¼ cup parsley chopped
- 6 tablespoon butter unsalted
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice fresh
Instructions
- Place shrimp, garlic, wine, salt and pepper in the Instant Pot and close the lid.
- Cook on high pressure for 1 minute.
- When cooking time is complete, do a quick pressure release.
- Take out the shrimp and press "saute".
- Add butter and saute until it melts.
- Add the shrimp, lemon juice and parsley and stir for 1 minute.
- Serve and enjoy 🙂
I tried making this but got the Burn Food alert. Between the time to come to pressure and the 1 minute on high pressure, the liquid seems to have evaporated. What did I do wrong?
