Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 lb Italian sausage
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 lb pasta
- 2 bell pepper chopped
- 3 zucchinis diced
- 16 oz marinara sauce
- ½ cup water
- 28 oz Italian tomatoes crushed
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Press "saute" and add olive oil.
- Add onion and sausage and saute until brown.
- Add pasta, bell pepper, zucchini, marinara sauce, water. crashed tomatoes, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper.
- Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes.
- When cooking time is complete, do a quick pressure release.
- Add cheese on top and serve 🙂

Can’t get the IP to come to pressure without burning. Not sure what I did wrong.
Sorry about that! It could be that the type of tomatoes or marinara that you're using is thicker than what I had tested with. Try thinning it out with a little water and see if that works.
How do you intend to bring the IP to pressure with no thin liquid. 1 lb of pasta would need 4 cups of thin liquid.
The liquid from the tomatoes is pretty thin, thin enough to work as the liquid for this recipe. Since it's different than the traditional method of cooking pasta, you do not need 4 full cups of liquid.
