You can use Rolled Oats as well as both rolled oats and steel-cut oats are high in protein, fiber, and nutrients and are a healthy choice.

Steel-cut oats are better than rolled oats.. It's just that it takes a longer time to cook them.

That’s where the Instant Pot comes in!

What else I can add to my recipe?

Use soy milk, almond milk or any nut milk instead of water.

The oats will be a bit watery when you remove the lid from the pot, but they will continue to thicken over time, so don't worry.

I use similar recipe but add 1 tsp. Vanilla and 1tsp. Cinnamon, and cook overnight in slow cooker. Delicious.

Steel Cut Oats aren't just for breakfast any more. I use your basic recipe and I add garlic, green onions and lots of fresh jalapeños. Colman's dried mustard and turmeric are very tasty as well.
