Bake homemade bread using the Instant Pot and this simple recipe!
This Instant Pot rosemary bread is very delicious and loved in many regions. Cook this bread in the Instant Pot which will enhance its taste.
Due to the long proofing in the instant pot, the bread comes out soft with a crispy crust. And rosemary gives piquancy.
Ideally for sandwiches. Just lay a piece of baked meat on top.
You can also use it to make this scrumptious Instant Pot Bread Pudding.

Ingredients
- ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 3 cups flour
- 1½ tablespoon rosemary chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbs sugar
- ¼ cup olive oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, stir warm water, dry yeast and sugar. Set aside for 10 min.
- After 10 minutes, add oil, rosemary, salt and flour. Stir till the flour is incorporated into the mixture. The dough may be a little sticky and it's fine.
- Take cake pan or springform pan and spray it with olive oil. Place your dough inside.
- Cover the lid and set the Instant Pot to 4 hours (Yogurt program).
- Once done, open the lid and take out the dough. Gently shape it into a ball (or any other shape you like).
- Brush with olive oil and sprinkle the rosemary on the top.
- Slash the bread making a cut about ½ inch deep. (I like it that way as you can see in the image. But this step is optional.)
- Bake in the oven or using Air Fryer Lid or Mealthy Crisplid at 450°F for 30 minutes until the bread get a crispy crust.
- Serve and enjoy.

This looks great and super easy.
I wanted to clarify when to add the rosemary. In the instructions it says to add it on top of the loaf before baking. However, the pictures look like it was added into the dough before cooking in the Instant Pot, and it is not visible on the after baking photo.
Can I add it into the dough as opposed to placing it on top?
Lastly, can you substitute whole wheat flour as a 1:1 substitute for the "flour" called for in the recipe card?
I have the Instant pot dual Crisp air fryer combo. What sקtting could I use instead of yogurt setting which I don't have?
I really want to make this bread.
The yogurt setting keeps the temperature around 110 degrees, which is great for proofing bread dough. Another option is using your oven - you can set it to the lowest possible setting, then turn it off, but keep the oven light on. This will provide a similar warm temperature for the dough to proof. Or you can leave it on the counter, especially if it's warm out, above 75 degrees.
I want to try this recipe but when baking and using airfryer lid does the heat in the oven remain the same for the airfyer. I always thought the airfryer was quicker.....I prefer to use the airfryer of course
The air fryer takes much less time to preheat so it is quicker than the oven. It's like a mini convection oven, so it might be done a few minutes earlier. But the oven might cook it more evenly. It's done when it's golden brown and 200 degrees internal temperature.
How do you bake it in the instant pot with the air fryer lid? Do you put the dough right on the bottom of the instant pot? On a rack? In a pan inside the pot? Want to try but the instructions don't say how to bake in the instant pot. TIA
Yes, the dough can stay on the bottom of the instant pot, you don't need a rack or a pan.
