Recipe Ingredients
Chilli Sauce - A perfect mix of chilies, tomatoes, onions, peppers, vinegar, and spices mostly available at every store. I use 'Heinz Chilli Sauce' as it never gets short in the market but if you don't find any, feel free to use barbeque sauce instead of it! This will also give an everlasting flavor to your sauce.
Grape Jelly - Grape Jelly in meatballs sounds so strange but believe me it's gonna rock your dish!! You can use any jar-packed grape jelly or also homemade whatever you prefer. But 'Welch's Grape Jelly' is one of my recommendations to use.
Spices - Most recipes you'll find on the internet don't contain spices in Grape Jelly Meatballs but I've used Cayenne Powder and Black Pepper to give this recipe some balanced spicy touch.
Meatballs - I've used frozen meatballs in my recipe. Use them frozen while cooking. You can also make meatballs at home. Get an idea of how to prepare meatballs from our Swedish Meatballs recipe :))
How to Make
Pour 12 oz of Chili Sauce into an Instant Pot.
Add 32 oz of Grape Jelly to it.
Add 1 teaspoon of Cayenne to it.
Add ½ teaspoon of Black Pepper to it.
Press Saute and saute the ingredients for 5 minutes until simmers.
Now, Add the frozen meatballs to the Instant Pot.
Cover the lid. Cook them at high pressure and set timings for 12 minutes. Then give it a quick release.
Dish out the yummy Grape Jelly Meatballs and serve it to your tummy with some steamed Rice or Egg Noodles!
How to Serve
If you're serving the Grape Jelly Meatballs as an appetizer, Serve it with the buttery and creamy Mashed Potatoes or have them with some grilled barbeque corns. They make a heart-melting combination when paired with Grape Jelly Meatballs :))
You can also simply have them with roasted green beans and potatoes. So light- So yummy!
Or have them as a main course with the spicy Rice Pilaf, It's the type of combo you can serve over and over again and would always get a happy reaction to :))

Recipe FAQs
Can I store and reheat later?
Yes, you can store it for 3-4 days in a refrigerator in an airtight container. Or for 4-5 months in the freezer. For reheating purposes, thaw it overnight in the fridge and reheat it for an hour or two on the stovetop. Add in some chili sauce and some water during reheating so it will get a texture like a freshly cooked dish!
Can I use any other flavored jelly instead of grape jelly?
Yes obviously! Use cranberry canned sauce (or homemade Instant Pot Cranberry Sauce), raspberry preserves, apricot preserves, or any other flavor you want in your dish.

Notes
- There's no need to thaw the meatballs. Use them frozen.
- This recipe gives a good consistency of sauce but if you want the sauce to be thicker, add some corn starch to water and stir. Then add this mixture to the sauce.
- You can change this recipe up a bit too depends on how much sweet or spicy you want it to be.
Tantalizingly Tangy Instant Pot Grape Jelly Meatballs
I don't have an Instant Pot..could I use my slow cooker for this? If so, how long would you think? Or maybe bake them in the oven?
Stupid question. Are the frozen meatballs already cooked? Or do they go in the IP raw?
Not a stupid question! I use raw meatballs but you could also use cooked frozen meatballs. If they are already cooked, they just need to be heated through, so you can probably reduce the cook time a bit.
