Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 2 cups carrots peeled and shredded
  • ½ head cabbage chopped
  • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
  • â…” cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place the oil in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”. Then add the pork and cook for about 5 minutes or until browned completely.
  • Press “Cancel” and stir in the remaining ingredients. Stir well.
  • Close the lid and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes.
  • When cooking time is complete, do a quick release.
  • Serve and enjoy 🙂

    1. Oh, yum! I think I would precook them in the instant pot for 20 minutes, then open, add remaining ingredients, and continue to cook for 25 minutes longer. You could also pre-boil them if you'd like...

  1. This is an amazing recipe with pork and veggies. I have tried this recipe and it turned out awesome. As I'm a veggie lover, I want to add more vegetables to it. How do you think adding peas, potatoes, and spinach would go?

    1. I'm also a great fan of vegetables. However, I think spinach won't work wonders in this recipe, but you can definitely try peas and potatoes. Also try adding some zucchini!
