  • 2 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 egg beaten
  • salt and pepper to taste


  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce


  • In a large bowl, mix the beef with the breadcrumbs, ketchup, onion powder, soy sauce and egg. Mix everything with until well combined 
  • Form a loaf and wrap it in aluminum foil, living the top open  
  • Place the wire rack at the bottom of the instant pot and add water. Place meatloaf in the aluminum foil on top of the rack 
  • Close the instant pot, select manual high pressure and cook for 25 minutes
  • During that time make the sauce for the meatloaf
  • Let the pressure go down naturally for 5 minutes
  • Remove the rest of the pressure, and open de lid
  • Remove the meatloaf carefully and add sauce on top
  • Serve Hot


  • Mix all the ingredient together

  1. Can you put the mixture in a loaf tin and then cook it pot in pot like cooking a cake? If so will I still need to cover with foil? Also would want to do it with Quorn mince as am a vegetarian.

  2. I followed the recipe and the meatloaf was still raw in the middle. I recommend adding 5 minutes to the cook time.
