Tips for the perfect Instant Pot Poached Eggs
Timings for eggs poached in an instant pot rely upon various things:
- The materials of the containers you use
- Elevation
- The size of your instant pot,
- The temperature of the ingredients etc.
I read on different online journals that the eggs ought to be cooked on high for 4-5 minutes for a completely runny yolk yet mine was prepared in only 1-2 minutes and the yolk was delicately cooked as of now.
So I propose poaching one egg and start with a 1-minute clock.
Then, at that point go up on the off chance that you think the consistency isn't up as you would prefer.
Whenever you have sorted out the right planning for yourself, poach various eggs together.
I don't cover the eggs with foil while poaching which implies that there will be a couple of drops of water buildup over them.
I simply spill it out.

Eggspedite your Breakfast with Instant Pot Poached Bliss
Hi. I tried your recipe to the T. The only difference is that I made them in silicone muffin liners and 1 minute was definitely enough. I will play with 2 minutes or maybe even 3. Thanks for your recipe
Great idea. I used silicone muffin liners and it worked well as well. Just a small note, my IP does not say Low Steam. It only says Less Medium High for steam. Low and high is reserved for pressure cooking. Thanks for recipe.
"Ass* much as you want"
Fixed 🙂
Room temperature eggs? Or straight from the refrigerator?
It's best to have them closer to room temperature, but this recipe will still work with eggs straight from the refrigerator.
Where can I purchase a trivet?
Many department stores or home goods stores will have them, or you can order online through Amazon or another retailer.
Love this idea! I've been looking for a rounded bottom glass bowl this size and can't seem to find one that's oven safe (or Instant Pot Safe). Do you know what brand your glass bowls are?
Thanks for sharing 🙂
I've wanted to do poached eggs for ages! Now I feel I can do so using my IP. Thanks for making it sound so easy.
Of course! You're welcome 🙂
Soft eggs are my favorite! Thanks so much.
Mine too! You're welcome 🙂
