    1. Absolutely! Since shrimp cooks so quickly, I recommend adding it at the end of the recipe. You could either stir in cooked shrimp at the end, or if you have uncooked shrimp, change the initial cook time to 4 minutes, then add the shrimp to the pot and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  1. So I tried this the other day and it was yummy like almost every recipe of your I use, you are my go to IP recipe site. Like your white chicken chili recipe I love it have a pot in the fridge right now, I drop the red pepper and had can of green chilis and I up the chili powder to the tune of 2.5x’s but I like the spice. Your IP recipes are the bomb.

    1. This recipe works with all types of sausages! I like to use a pork sausage like kielbasa, andouille, or bratwurst.

  2. Corrie,
This recipe was the bomb! I don't know what all the misunderstanding was it's not rocket science.

I love your recipes keep up the great work and thank you very much!

  3. I don't care what people say about the recipe not turning out as expected. Most people just don't READ the recipe correctly and ask the same dumb questions over an over again. Your recipes are great!

    1. Anna, thank you for being someone who FINALLY says this!!!! LOL

I'm always afraid to bring this to the attention of these posters

  4. How many sausages was actually used in this recipe. As two packets to me would be about 8 regular sized sausages

    1. 3 minutes should be long enough, especially if the sausage is cut into pieces, but I would do 5 just in case. It won't be overcooked.
