Why This Recipe Works

This vegan air fryer gobi manchurian recipe is packed with powerhouse nutrients that boost your immune system and aid your digestive system.

Gobi manchurian air fryer style is also very flexible. You can adjust the ingredients to your personal taste.

Ingredients

Sesame Oil: Olive and avocado oils will work in a pinch, but sesame oil will give your dish the best flavoring.

Garlic: Fresh garlic is always better, but you can use powdered if needed.

Onion: Yellow onions work well here.

Green Pepper: Ensure onion and green pepper are diced the same size for even cooking.

Ginger: Use fresh ginger for the best taste; peeling it with a teaspoon minimizes waste.

Vinegar: You can use rice or white vinegar; they work the same.

Soy Sauce: Soy and soya sauce are the same thing.

Chili Sauce: You can buy Frank's Red Hot, Sriracha, or make your own.

Tomato Ketchup: If you want to reduce the sweetness, use tomato sauce or paste.

Cornstarch Water: Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon water to make a runny paste.

Cauliflower: Florets should be about nugget size.

Garlic Ginger Paste: Mix equal parts garlic and ginger with oil to make a paste. Optional turmeric.

Chili Powder: Be careful, chili powder gets hotter over time.

Spring Onions: Chop and use as an optional garnish.
