largest electric pressure cookers

If you have a large family and are looking for the biggest electric pressure cookers available then you found them right here.

I know how hard it is to cook for a lot of people regularly and I also know that most electric pressure cookers are just not big enough to feed more than about 5-6 people.

Below I’ve listed off the largest electric pressure cookers sold today. They aren’t necessarily the best pressure cookers but they are pretty huge and they will get basic cooking done reliably.

Most pressure cookers listed below I’ve personally reviewed here on this website and almost all have reviews that are more than adequate.

So, lets take a look at the list.

Really Big Electric Pressure Cookers – Your Best Bets

Below I’ve listed a bunch of large electric pressure cookers. I am ordering this list by size and referencing build quality in my comments. If you are truly interested buying the biggest pressure cooker possible then the top of this list is where you’ll find them. If on the other hand you want to balance size and quality then take at look at my favorite large electric pressure cooker here.

GoWISE USA GW22637 4th-Generation Electric Pressure Cooker with steam rack, steam basket, rice scooper, and measuring cup, 14 QTGoWise USA makes a number of huge electric pressure cookers. This is their biggest one. At 14-quarts filled to a safe 2/3 full you can fit roughly 37 cups of food into the pot. That can feed a lot of people, you could probably feed between 12 and 14 people or maybe fewer people who like to take seconds. Although this GoWise pressure cooker isn’t the best quality it is going to suffice for most people. Reviews for the 4th Generation models are consistently high enough to justify their price.

In addition to this 14-quart model you can also pick up the same model in large 12-quart and 8-quart sizes.

Della 12 Quart 1600-Watt Electric Pressure Cooker Multi-Functional Timer Slow Cook XLLooking at the specs of all the extra large electric pressure cookers I like the value and size of this Della XL best. It is priced very attractively for it’s size and it includes a lot of the functions you’d like in a multi-cooker pressure cooker. This unit can be used as a slow cooker, browning saute pan, and even yogurt maker in addition to traditional pressure cooking at both high and low temps.

If you are interested in the Della XL but don’t need it to be so big then you can take a look at their still large 8-quart pot which is a bit cheaper too.

Elite Platinum EPC-1013 Maxi-Matic 10 Quart Electric Pressure CookerWithin the Maxi-Matic line of electric pressure cooker from Elite Platinum the 10-quart EPC-1013 is not the best pressure cooker they make but it is the largest. It still has a bunch of preset cooking functions and can saute/brown but all of the other Elite models have more functions. The cook pot on this model is a non-stick material compared to stainless steel and it won’t work as a slow cooker so despite the size of this pot and it’s attractive price it may not be for everyone.

This model comes in a few different colors. Elite Platinum also makes two other models that are in the 8-quart size. The lower priced Elite Platinum EPC-808 Maxi-Matic has the best reviews while the higher priced Elite Platinum EPC-813B Maxi-Matic offers more benefits to you in the kitchen making it a good deal at the sacrifice of extreme size.

Power Pressure Cooker XL 10 QtLast on my list of gigantic electric pressure cookers is the ever popular Power Pressure Cooker XL – 10-quart model. This is the brand that is famous for it’s as-seen-on-tv commercials. These days you don’t have to order over the phone but can pick up one of these units just like any other pressure cooker both in stores and online. The 10qt model linked above is a little bit more pricey than some of the alternatives but they have name brand recognition and the cook pots are quite versatile. They advertise that you can even can foods in them but I wouldn’t advise that even in their largest cooker. The pressure just doesn’t get high enough, especially at higher altitudes.

Power Pressure Cooker XL has an 8-quart model that you can take a look at if you want and I also have personally reviewed all models from this company. You can click through to see my Power Pressure Cooker XL pressure cooker reviews right here.
