Although the person who created this combination was a 10-year-old, it doesn’t sound appealing. Even the kid who made it refused to eat it, as did the family dog, who is quoted to enjoy eating “sticks and rocks”
2. 3-Ingredient Microwaved Banana Bread
Recently, a post online went viral because someone thought their microwaved banana bread was a snack others would enjoy. It had three ingredients, which made it convenient, but it did not look like something I’d want to make. Others agreed, stating that it was upsetting and looked rubbery and overcooked.
3. Chicken Caesar Soup
This soup is exactly what it sounds like – “a soup base that was essentially just watered-down Caesar dressing.” The person who made this said it was served hot with wilted Romaine, which makes it sound even worse.
4. Savory Kiwi Pasta
In addition to kiwi fruit, this pasta recipe includes garlic and yogurt. One person said they made this out of curiosity, but it was revolting. They ended up tossing their dinner away, which I can’t say surprised me. I’m allergic to kiwi, but I would respectfully decline a bowl of this even if I wasn’t.
5. White Chocolate Lavender Mashed Potatoes
This was another recipe someone made by someone out of curiosity, and their reaction was, “NOPE.” They said the recipe had no added sugar, but it still felt like a dessert and ruined the dish for them.
6. Boursin Cheese and Raisin Soup
One foodie stated that their mother-in-law usually only prepared salads. The one time she made something else—a soup—it did not go well. This concoction involved a combination of Boursin cheese and raisins (which were substituted for capers).
7. Microwaved Leg of Lamb
Whether you think lamb is delicious or not, you can probably agree that microwaving it isn’t a great idea. One woman shared an experience she had, where she flew 3500 miles to see her mom, and her mom served an expensive New Zealand leg of lamb that she had microwaved.
8. Cream Cheese Recipes – In General
One food lover mentioned that TikTok and other internet sites where people share cooking videos have sensationalized the use of cream cheese in nearly everything. They stated that if you’re watching a recipe video that suddenly says to add a block of cream cheese, you should stop watching.
9. Americanized Mexican Food
Apparently, soggy flour tortillas are *not* appreciated, especially by Mexican and Hispanic people who watch white, suburban moms cook “Mexican food.” One foodie called enchilada casserole “a sensory sin,” and another said they hate watching people wrap things in flour tortillas and pour a can of sauce over the whole thing.
10. Bleu Cheese Ice Cream Salad
One user shared an experience where they were served a salad with bleu cheese ice cream. I have yet to find out where they got this salad, but clearly, someone thought they had a bright idea for that dish. My brilliant idea would be to remove it from the menu and never serve it again.
