Turn on the instant pot and select sauté.
Add oil, onions and sauté for 3 minutes.
Add garlic and tomato paste and sauté until tomato paste changes to orange.
Deglaze it with red wine.
Add tomatoes, seasoning, water, spices and cook for 5 minutes.
Close the lid of the instant pot.
Set instant pot to Manual at high pressure and cook for 8 minutes. Release the pressure quickly through steam vent.
Open the lid of the instant pot.
You can use this sauce immediately, refrigerate or even freeze it.
