Optional: Pink food coloring for a more vibrant color
Instructions
Line an 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a medium saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate and butter are completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in the strawberry extract and optional food coloring until well combined.
Fold in the crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the edges of the parchment paper and cut into 25 squares.
Notes
Use low heat when melting the chocolate to prevent it from burning.
• Line your pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the fudge once it's set.
• If using fresh strawberry puree, reduce the liquid content to keep the fudge firm.
• Cool the fudge at room temperature before refrigerating to prevent condensation.
• Cut the fudge into small squares as it is very rich and sweet.
