Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season with garlic powder and black pepper.
Wrap each scallop with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Arrange the wrapped scallops on the baking sheet.
Drizzle lemon juice over the scallops.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and the bacon is crispy. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let them rest for a minute before serving.
