for boiling
Ice
for the ice bath
Salt

Vinegar

Instructions
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add vinegar.
Carefully lower the eggs into the boiling water.
Boil for 6-7 minutes for a jammy yolk.
Prepare an ice bath in a separate bowl.
Immediately transfer the eggs to the ice bath after boiling.
Once cooled, peel the eggs and season with salt.
Notes
Use eggs that are a few days old for easier peeling.
Add a pinch of baking soda to the boiling water to make peeling easier.
To avoid cracking, gently place the eggs into the water with a spoon.
Immediately transfer the eggs to an ice bath after boiling.
Peel the eggs under running water for ease.
