corn tortillas

16 ounces refried beans

head of lettuce

shredded cheese
Instructions
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until brown. Drain off any excess grease.
In a separate skillet, add a little oil and fry the tortillas until they're crispy.
Warm the refried beans in a pot or microwave.
To assemble, spread a layer of refried beans on each crispy tortilla.
Add a layer of cooked ground beef on top of the beans.
Sprinkle shredded lettuce and then shredded cheese over the beef.
Serve immediately with additional toppings if desired.
Notes
Make sure the ground beef is fully cooked and drained of excess grease.
Use a bit of oil to get the tortillas crispy, but not too much or they'll become soggy.
Season your beef and beans well for better taste.
Prepare all your toppings in advance so assembling is quick and easy.
You can make the beef and bean mixture ahead of time and store them in the fridge.
