beef strips

sliced mushrooms

medium-sized onion
chopped

sour cream
1
cup
beef broth
Instructions
In a large pan, sauté the chopped onions until translucent.
Add the beef strips to the pan and cook until browned.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and continue to sauté until they release their moisture.
Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.
Once simmering, lower the heat and add the sour cream. Stir well.
Cook for another 5-10 minutes until all the ingredients are well combined and the sauce is creamy.
Serve hot over your choice of base, like egg noodles, rice, or bread.
Notes
Cut the beef into similarly sized strips for even cooking.
Sauté mushrooms until they release their moisture for a concentrated flavor.
Taste before adding extra salt as the beef broth might already be salty.
