Instructions
If you have time, brown the beef roast in a frying pan with a little oil. This adds flavor.
Put chopped potatoes, carrots, and onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Place the beef roast on top of the veggies.
Pour the beef broth over the meat and veggies.
Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Check for doneness. The meat and veggies should be tender.
Serve hot and enjoy!

Brown the Meat
: Quickly frying the beef in a pan before putting it in the slow cooker will give it a rich flavor.
