Instructions
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Break it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
Warm up the black beans in a small pot.
Prepare 1 cup of cooked rice following package instructions.
Warm the flour tortillas in a microwave or on a skillet.
Lay a tortilla flat on a plate. Place some ground beef, black beans, rice, and shredded cheese in the center.
Fold the ends in and then roll the tortilla tightly around the fillings.
Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Optional: Heat the assembled burritos on a skillet to melt the cheese and crisp the tortilla.
Serve immediately, with optional sides like salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
Notes
Warm the Tortillas
: This makes them easier to fold.
Drain Beans
: If using canned beans, drain them well to avoid making the burrito soggy.
Cook Beef Thoroughly
: Make sure the ground beef is fully cooked before adding it to the burrito.
Layer Carefully
: Don't overstuff; it makes the burrito hard to roll.
Seal the Ends
: Fold the ends in before rolling to keep the filling from falling out.
