Ingredients
1
pound
ground beef
1
cup
breadcrumbs
1
large egg
Salt and pepper to taste
1
teaspoon
garlic powder
Instructions
In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, and garlic powder.
Add the egg and mix until just combined. Don't overmix.
Season with salt and pepper.
Shape the mixture into meatballs, using an ice cream scoop for consistent sizing.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place the meatballs in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through, flipping halfway.
Serve immediately with your choice of sauce or dish.
Notes
Don't overmix the meat; it can make the meatballs tough.
Use an ice cream scoop to make evenly sized meatballs.
Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes for the best results.
If your air fryer has a tendency to stick, consider lightly spraying the basket with non-stick spray.
You can make these meatballs ahead of time and freeze them. Just add a few extra minutes to the cooking time when air frying from frozen.
