Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds.
In a skillet, sauté the onion until it turns translucent.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Mix in the cooked rice and tomato sauce. Stir well.
Carefully stuff the bell peppers with the beef and rice mixture.
Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the peppers are tender.
Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Wash the bell peppers thoroughly and remove all seeds.
Pre-cook the rice to speed up the cooking process.
Make sure the ground beef is fully cooked before stuffing into the peppers.
For a spicier kick, add some chili flakes or jalapeños to the meat mixture.
You can prepare the stuffed bell peppers in advance and store them in the fridge before baking.
