Ingredients
Deli-sliced ham
Cheese slices
cheddar or Swiss
Softened cream cheese
Green onions
finely chopped
Seasonings
salt, pepper, garlic powder
Instructions
Lay out the ham slices on a clean surface.
In a bowl, mix together softened cream cheese, chopped green onions, and seasonings.
Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each ham slice.
Place a slice of cheese on top of the cream cheese layer.
Roll up the ham slice tightly.
If desired, cut each roll-up into smaller pieces for bite-sized servings.
Chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving.
Notes
Allow the cream cheese to soften at room temperature for easier spreading.
Avoid overfilling to prevent the roll-ups from breaking apart.
If the ham slices are too thin, you can overlap two slices to make it sturdier.
For an added kick, consider adding a little mustard or horseradish to the cream cheese mixture.
Chill the roll-ups for about 30 minutes before serving to help them hold their shape.
