Ingredients
Boneless
skinless chicken thighs (500g), thinly sliced
Fresh Thai basil leaves
1 cup
Garlic
3 cloves, minced
Bird's Eye Chili
2-3, chopped
Oyster sauce
3 tbsp
Instructions
Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add minced garlic and chopped chilies, sautéing until fragrant.
Add the sliced chicken and stir-fry until nearly cooked through.
Pour in the oyster sauce and stir well, ensuring the chicken is fully coated.
Once the chicken is fully cooked, fold in the Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute or until the basil is wilted but still vibrant.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Adjust the chili according to your heat preference; omit entirely for a milder dish.
Use a wok or a large skillet for even cooking.
If using chicken breasts, slice them thinly to ensure quick and even cooking.
Fresh ingredients make all the difference, especially the Thai basil.
Don't overcook the basil; add it towards the end to retain its vibrant color and flavor.
