Kielbasa sausage
1
pound
pasta
1
medium onion
3
cloves
of garlic
1
cup
of cream
Instructions
Slice the kielbasa sausage into bite-size pieces.
Cook the pasta in boiling water until it's al dente.
While the pasta is cooking, heat a large pan over medium heat. Add the kielbasa and cook until it's browned.
Remove the sausage from the pan. In the same pan, add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is caramelized.
Add the cream to the pan and bring to a simmer.
Drain the pasta and add it to the pan with the cream. Stir until the pasta is coated with the sauce.
Add the cooked sausage to the pan and stir until everything is well combined.
Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to cook the pasta al dente - firm to the bite, as it will continue cooking in the sauce.
Choose a high-quality kielbasa sausage as it's the main flavor of the dish.
The dish can be adjusted to your liking. Feel free to add veggies or spices to add variety.
Make sure to stir occasionally while cooking the pasta in the sauce to prevent sticking.
Don't rush cooking the onions, they need time to properly caramelize and add sweetness to the dish.
