Ingredients
5
sausages
6
eggs
1
cup
grated cheese
1
onion
chopped
1
bell pepper
diced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook the sausages in an oven-safe skillet over medium heat until browned. Remove and slice them.
In the same skillet, sauté the onions and bell peppers until softened.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and add the grated cheese.
Add the cooked sausages, onions, and bell peppers to the egg mixture and mix well.
Pour the mixture back into the skillet and cook over medium heat until the edges start to set.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the frittata is just set in the middle.
Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Sauté the sausages, onions, and peppers well before adding them to the egg mixture for a deeper flavor.
Whisk your eggs thoroughly to incorporate air for a fluffier frittata.
Cook the frittata on the stove top first, then finish it in the oven for the best texture.
Don't overcook the frittata; it should be just set in the middle when you take it out of the oven.
Allow the frittata to cool slightly before slicing, as it will continue to set.
