Ingredients
1
head of iceberg lettuce
1
cup
of blue cheese dressing
1
cup
of cherry tomatoes
halved
6
strips of bacon
cooked and crumbled
½
cup
of blue cheese crumbles
Instructions
Rinse the iceberg lettuce thoroughly and pat dry. Cut into 4 wedges.
Drizzle each lettuce wedge with the blue cheese dressing.
Sprinkle the halved cherry tomatoes and crumbled bacon evenly over each wedge.
Top each wedge with blue cheese crumbles.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Always rinse the iceberg lettuce thoroughly and pat dry to remove any dirt or grit.
For extra flavor, try cooking your bacon in the oven. It tends to cook more evenly and gets extra crispy.
To make the salad ahead of time, prep all the ingredients but keep them separate. Assemble right before serving to avoid sogginess.
If you don't like blue cheese, replace both the dressing and the crumbles with a different cheese and dressing of your liking.
For a gourmet touch, add some chopped fresh herbs like chives or parsley.
