Instant Pot Green Bean Casserole
This Instant Pot Green Bean Casserole is a great way to make a flavorful side dish perfect for a weeknight meal or a holiday meal!

cream of mushroom soup

french fried onions

cheddar cheese

Instructions
Prep and cut off the ends of the fresh green beans.
Add the green beans and cream of mushroom soup to the Instant Pot.
Put on the the lid and cook on high pressure for 2 minutes.
When cooking time is complete, do a quick pressure release.
Put the bean mixture into a small casserole dish and add the french fried onions and the cheddar cheese on top.
Clean the bottom of the Instant Pot, put a trivet inside the Instant Pot and place the casserole dish on the trivet.
Cover with the air fryer lid and Air Fry at 390 °F for 12 minutes.
Serve and enjoy. Feel free to add toppings :)

Notes
If you use fresh green beans, be sure to break off the ends and then break the green bean into two or three pieces.
I don't recommend using frozen green beans for this recipe as they release a lot of extra liquid during the cooking process.
The easiest way to change the taste is to change up the cheese. Pepperjack, mozzarella, Colby - you name it.
Looking for more taste? Saute some mushrooms and then add them to the casserole.
Topping ideas: fried onions, bacon bits, shredded cheese, or even fresh onions.
