Place the uncooked rice, water and spices into the Instant Pot and stir.
Put on the lid and cook for 4 minutes on high pressure.
When cooking time is complete, wait for a natural release for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, pressure release the remaining steam manually by moving the steam release handle to βventingβ.
Take off the lid and fluff the cooked rice using a fork.

Fluffing the rice is key when you take off the Instant Pot lid. You can use a fork to fluff the rice.
Use a spoon to scoop the rice out of the cooker and then fluff it again to get into the bowl. Fluffing helps to make sure that the rice doesn't get sticky and helps to release the heat of the rice as well.
If you like softer rice, use 1 ΒΌ cups of water instead.
You can cook smaller or bigger amounts of rice. Just follow the 1:1 rule - 1 cup of water for every 1 cup of rice.
