Crush all strawberries so they make exactly five cups of fruit.
Add fruit in a saucepan and mix it with Sure Jell.
Add in butter and let the mixture boil.
Stir constantly on high heat and add in sugar.
Boil on high heat for one minute while stirring, and then remove the pan from the heat.
Remove the foam using a spoon.
Finally, add the prepared jam to the jars.
Let the jars and jam cool down before putting them in your freezer.
Notes
Before you add your prepared jam to a jar, ensure to sterilize your jars and clean them properly. If possible, keep the jars at room temperature, so they don't turn hot when you transfer your fresh jam into them.
