  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 10 oz. green chili tomatillo salsa
  • 1 pound pork sirloin roast thickly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper


  • Mix together ground cumin, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  • Dredge the pork in this mixture and coat well on both sides.
  • Put the oil and pork in the Instant Pot and select “Sauté”.
  • Sauté for 3 minutes on both sides and add green chili tomatillo salsa.
  • Set the Instant Pot to “Manual” at “High Pressure” for 20 minutes.
  • Carefully release the pressure naturally for 15 minutes and dish out.
