Spread refried beans on two tortillas. Top each with seasoned ground beef and a layer of salsa.
Place another tortilla on top of each, then sprinkle with shredded cheese and any other desired toppings (except lettuce and tomato).
Carefully place one pizza in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tortilla is crispy.
Repeat with the second pizza.
Allow to cool slightly, then add fresh toppings like lettuce and tomato if desired. Slice and serve.
Notes
Lightly brush or spray the tortillas with oil to help them crisp up in the air fryer.
• Spread a thin layer of refried beans on the tortillas before adding other toppings to prevent sogginess.
• Pre-cook the ground beef with taco seasoning before assembling the pizza to ensure it's flavorful.
• Cook the pizzas one at a time in the air fryer to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
• Let the pizza cool for a couple of minutes after cooking for the cheese to set and make it easier to slice.
