Season your pork chops generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside.
Add butter to melt in the still-hot skillet, then add red chili flakes, brown sugar, and soy sauce to the butter. Stir to incorporate and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
Add the pork chops back to the brown sugar mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they have become caramelized around the edges.
Top with fresh chopped herbs, serve with your favorite side dish, and enjoy :)

Notes
Make sure to season your pork chops generously with salt and pepper. This helps draw the juices out during cooking, resulting in unbelievable flavor and juicy texture. If you can, season your pork chops at least 20 minutes before you cook them to give them time to tenderize your chops.
Avoid overcooking your pork chops as they cook fast and dry out when overcooked. You will want to ensure that you only sear them in the skillet the first time. The juices should still run a little pink when you remove them from the heat the first time because they will continue to cook as they rest, and your pork chops will go back into the skillet to cook for a second time. Adjust your cooking time accordingly based on the size and thickness of your chops.
