In a large bowl, combine sourdough starter, flour, eggs, butter, sugar, salt, milk, and vanilla extract.
Knead the dough until smooth and elastic, about 10-15 minutes.
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise until doubled in size, about 4-8 hours.
Punch down the dough, shape it into a loaf, and place in a greased loaf pan.
Cover and let rise again for 2-3 hours.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brush the top of the loaf with egg wash.
Bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and let cool before slicing.
