kielbasa
sliced

cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend

Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add kielbasa slices and cook until slightly browned.
Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until onions are translucent.
Pour in the drained diced tomatoes and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a light boil.
Lower heat and add in the grated cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted.
Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
Drain the cooked pasta and add it to the skillet, mixing well to coat with the creamy sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Ensure pasta is cooked al dente to prevent it from becoming too soft when mixed with other ingredients.
For a smokier flavor, you can grill or sauté the kielbasa first.
Add crushed red pepper flakes if you prefer some heat.
You can make this dish ahead and reheat; it tastes even better the next day.
Freshly grated cheese melts better than pre-shredded ones from bags.
