2
cups
raspberries
fresh or frozen
2
cups
crushed ice
¼
cup
sugar
adjust to taste
2
tablespoons
lemon juice
½
cup
water
Mint leaves
optional for garnish
Instructions
If using fresh raspberries, wash them thoroughly. You can freeze them for an hour for a colder drink.
In a blender, combine raspberries, crushed ice, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
Blend on high until you achieve a smooth, slushie consistency. If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more water; if it's too thin, add more ice.
Taste the slushie. If needed, add more sugar or lemon juice to taste, then blend again.
Pour the slushie into glasses, garnish with mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.
Notes
If using fresh raspberries, you can freeze them beforehand for an even colder slushie.
Adjust the sugar to your taste, especially since the sweetness of raspberries can vary.
For an adult version, add a splash of vodka or rum.
If your blender struggles with ice, pour in liquid ingredients first for easier blending.
Serve immediately, as the slushie will lose its texture as it melts.
