In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and toffee bits.
Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Enjoy your homemade chocolate toffee cookies!
Notes
Room Temperature Ingredients: Ensure your butter and eggs are at room temperature for a smoother cookie dough.
Chill the Dough: Refrigerating the cookie dough for an hour or more helps prevent spreading and creates thicker cookies.
Use Parchment Paper: Line your baking sheets with parchment paper for easy cleanup and to prevent sticking.
Don't Overmix: Mix the dough until just combined to avoid tough cookies.
Customize Toppings: Experiment with toppings like sea salt or drizzled caramel for extra flair.
