Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, combine the sourdough starter, flour, melted butter, sugar, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.
If using, add garlic powder and paprika to the dough and mix.
Roll out the dough thinly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Prick the dough with a fork and optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds, or herbs.
Cut the dough into desired shapes using a pizza cutter or a knife.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the crackers are lightly browned and crispy.
Allow to cool completely before breaking along the pre-cut lines and serving.
Notes
Make sure your sourdough starter is active and bubbly for best results.
Roll the dough thinly to achieve crispy crackers.
Prick the dough with a fork to prevent puffing during baking.
Keep a close eye on the crackers towards the end of baking to prevent burning.
Store in an airtight container to maintain crispness after baking.
