trimmed
2
tablespoons
Worcestershire sauce
2
cloves
garlic
minced
2
tablespoons
butter
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
Salt and pepper
to taste
Optional: Red pepper flakes for some heat
Instructions
In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Add the green beans and stir, ensuring they're well coated with the butter and garlic.
Pour in the Worcestershire sauce and mix well.
Cover and let the beans cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the beans are nearly done, add the lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss well.
Serve hot, garnished with optional red pepper flakes if desired.
Notes
Choose fresh green beans that snap easily when bent.
Do not overcook the beans; they should retain some crispness.
Adjust the amount of Worcestershire sauce to your preference.
Freshly squeezed lemon juice is always best for flavor.
Remember to constantly stir the beans to ensure even cooking and prevent burning.
