14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

teaspoon
vanilla extract

chopped nuts
walnuts or pecans, optional

Instructions
Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk and salt.
Once melted and combined, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts, if using.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Chill in the refrigerator until set, at least 4 hours or overnight.
Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into squares. Serve.
Notes
Line your pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
Always melt chocolate on low heat to prevent burning.
If using a microwave to melt chocolate, do it in 20-second intervals, stirring in between.
Allow the fudge to set in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Fudge can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week.
