Ingredients
1
bottle of red wine
½
cup
brandy
1
orange
sliced
1
apple
diced
1
cup
cranberries
Instructions
In a large pitcher, combine wine and brandy.
Add in the sliced orange, diced apple, and cranberries.
Stir well and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Before serving, taste and adjust sweetness or strength if needed.
Serve chilled with your choice of garnishes.
Notes
Choose a wine you'd actually drink on its own.
Let the sangria sit in the refrigerator for a few hours or overnight to meld the flavors.
Add sweetener, like simple syrup, to taste if your fruits aren't sweet enough.
If using sparkling wine or soda, add it just before serving to retain fizz.
Always taste and adjust. If it’s too strong, dilute with some fruit juice or soda.
