Ingredients
4
chicken breasts
2
tablespoons
Cajun seasoning
2
tablespoons
olive oil
3
garlic cloves
minced
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
Instructions
Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
Rub both sides of each breast with the Cajun seasoning.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
Place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and nicely seared.
Drizzle lemon juice over the chicken breasts.
Serve hot with your choice of side.
Notes
Always pat dry the chicken breasts before seasoning to ensure even cooking.
Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your heat tolerance.
If using store-bought Cajun seasoning, be wary of its salt content. You might not need additional salt.
For optimal flavor, you can marinate the chicken with the seasoning for at least 30 minutes.
A well-preheated skillet or pan ensures the chicken gets a nice sear without sticking.
